Tungsten (W) Tungsten is a strategic resource. It has the features of high melting point, high rigidity, and high strength. It is widely applied in metallurgy, petroleum, mine, automobile, steel, mechanical processing, electronics, national defense, space and chemical industry. HNG owns the largest tungsten resources reserve in the world. The reserve of Tungsten (WO3) accounts for 20% of the world, mainly scattered in Shizhuyuan Mine (reputed as "Nonferrous Metals Museum of the World") and the century old Yaogangxian Mine (known as "the fourth largest scheelite mine in the world").

Bismuth (Bi)
Bismuth is an immalleable metal. During its processing, no toxics are produced, it is called "green" metal and is widely used in medical, semiconductor, super conductor, fireproof materials, cosmetics, nuclear power, and storage battery.
HNG has the largest reserve of bismuth in the world. The reserve of bismuth is over 300,000 tons. The annual metal production of bismuth concentrates is 1000 tons.

Antimony (Sb)
Antimony is a glittering silver-white metal or half-metal which has features of metal and non-metal. It is widely used as fire retardant, dope of building, textile and bonding agent, battery, ceramics, chemicals, glass, fireworks and rubber materials etc.
HNG owns rich antimony reserve which is distributed at the hundred-year long Hsikwangshan Mine (known as "Antimony Capital of the World"). The annual metal production of antimony concentrates is nearly 20,000 tons.

Zinc (Zn)
Zinc is a silver-colored metal which is used in corrosion -proof, electricity conducting, heat conducting. It is of great importance in steel surface corrosion-proof, copper-tin-lead alloy, machinery building, construction materials and storage battery.
HNG has a considerable reserve of zinc resource. It is distributed in Huangshaping Mine and Shizhuyuan Mine.

Lead (Pb) Lead is a high-density grayish-blue metal with a good corrosion-proof and high malleability. It is of wide use in construction industry, military storage tank and pipeline, storage battery, electric cable shield, and radiation-proof. HNG has a considerable reserve of lead resources. It is distributed in Huangshaping Mine and Shizhuyuan Mine.

Molybdenum (Mo) Molybdenum is a silver-colored, hard, transitional metal. It is mainly used in alloy, hard steel, wearing-pressure-high temperature-resistant structure, aviation and space spare parts, steel rail and automobile spare parts. HNG has large-sized Molybdenum mines. They are distributed in Shizhuyuan Mine,Yaogangxian Mine and Huangshaping Mine. The reserve of Molybdenum totals 140,000 tons. The annual metal production of Molybdenum concentrates is about 600 tons.

Copper (Cu), Tin (Sn), Fluorite (CaF2)
Apart from the above abundant nonferrous metal reserves, HNG has considerable reserve of copper, tin and fluorite. They are mainly distributed in Shizhuyuan Mine, Huangshaping Mine and Yaogangxian Mine.

Development of Overseas Resources
HNG actively carries out overseas resources development, holding shares of Compass Resources Co., Ltd. and Pakistan Duddar Lead-Zinc Mine. Meantime, HNG develops millions of tons of lead, copper, cobalt and nickel resources in Northern Territory of Australia with Compass Resources NL. Smelting of Tungsten The tungsten smelting segment of HNG mainly lies in Zhuying Group. The production capacity is over 10,000 tons per year. The major products made and sold are APT, AMT, Tungsten Oxide, and a series of tungsten products. These products pass the authentication of the three systems: GB/T19001-ISO9001 Quality Management System, GB/T28001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO14001 Environment Management System. "Diamond Brand" tungsten oxide is the "Top Brand of Hunan" .

Smelting of lead and zinc The smelting of lead and zinc of HNG mainly rests with Zhuye Group and Hsikwangshan. Zhuye Group is the largest producer of lead and zinc in China. Zhuye Group mainly produces "Torch Brand" lead, zinc and their alloy products. Its electric zinc products totals 300,000 tons a year; its electric lead products totals 100,000 tons a year. The "Twinkling Star Brand" zinc ingot produced by Hsikwangshan totals about 50,000 tons a year. The "Torch" trademark is a China Famous Brand. "Torch Brand" lead ingot, and zinc ingot have been registered in London Metal Exchange and are popular in over 20 countries and regions in the world. Zhuye Group passed the authentication of ISO9001 Quality Management System and ISO14001 Environment Management System. It is the first producer of lead and zinc in China to pass the authentication of environment system. Zhuye Group is the only producer in China whose zinc and its alloy are exempt from inspection in exportation. Zhuye Group is also listed in the Red List of China General Administration of Customs for import and export enterprises. Smelting of Antimony HNG's antimony smelting is located in Hsikwangshan with an annual capacity of over 50,000 tons.Century old Hsikwangshan is the largest producer of antimony products in the world as well as the cradle of China's antimony industry and the major export base for antimony products. It enjoys the reputation of "Antimony Capital of the World". The "Twinkling Star Brand" has been accredited as famous trademark many times. The products have won national silver prize many times. 90% of the products are sold far abroad to over 50 countries and regions like Japan, USA and European countries, enjoying high reputation in the world. The antimony series products passed the authentication of ISO9002 Quality Management System.

Fluoride Salt HNG's fluoride salt business is undertaken by Fluoride Chemical Corporation, with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons.Fluoride Chemical Corporation introduced the Dry Aluminum Fluoride Production Line from Switzerland and Germany, which is the only one in China. The product is a national new product. Xianglv is the largest producer of fluoride salt in the world. The technological standard is leading in fluoride salt industry in China. At present, over 20 series of fluoride products like potassium fluotitanate and potassium fluoroborate have been developed and produced. All these products have passed the authentication of ISO9001-2000 Quality Management System. Apart from supplying to large and medium-sized aluminum factories at home, they are marketed far and wide to over 20 countries and regions.

Smelting of Bismuth HNG's bismuth smelting business is mainly situated in Shizhuyuan and Zhuye Group, with an annual capacity of 1400 tons. The main products are "Shizhuyuan Brand" high purification bismuth and "Torch Brand" refined bismuth. "Shizhuyuan Brand" bismuth ingot has passed the authentication of ISO9002 Quality Management System and is a provincial quality product as well as an inspection-free export product. It enjoys high reputation in international market. "Torch Brand" refined bismuth is awarded National Silver Prize.

Smelting of Molybdenum HNG's molybdenum smelting is mainly done in Zhuying Group, Ziying and Shizhuyuan, with an annual capacity of about 5000 tons. The major products are molybdenum oxide and molybdenum powder. Zhuying Group and Ziying have passed the authentication of GB/T19001-ISO9001 Quality Management System, GB/T28001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO14001 Environment Management System. Parts of the products are exported.

Smelting of Rare Metals like Indium, Silver and Gold
HNG's smelting of rare metals like indium, silver, and gold mainly lies in Zhuye Group, which is the largest producer of refined indium in China, with an annual capacity 1000 kilograms of gold, and 280 tons of silver. The "Torch Brand" silver ingot is registered at London Metal Exchange (LME). The gold ingot has passed the authentication of Shanghai Gold Exchange.
